Bulworthy Forest Lodges is part of our Wanderwood Lodge Holidays Collection, tucked away down a picturesque tree-lined drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest in heavenly North Devon. Due to steep gradients Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties. These excellent lodges truly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. Nestling in 25 acres of woodland teeming with flora and fauna, and boasting five well-stocked fishing lakes, this is the consummate setting for escaping to the country and losing yourself in perfect peace and good old-fashioned family fun. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching. Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach are all within just 5 miles, there’s a pub and shops a short drive away. It's the perfect base to explore Webbery, Bideford and the wider area of North Devon.

"Fantastic!! Coming from a busy town, the quiet here was such a welcome treat - to be able to sit at night, listening to wind rustling the leaves, only overshadowed by the nearby waterfall and the occasional splash of a Carp in the lake. We arrived to find a pheasant crossing the road and up the slope right alongside our terrace, and the tiniest of baby frogs at the edge of the lake, which delighted the children! Within a couple of hours, we knew we'd want to come back again!!"
