Weymouth and Portland Harbour are just 22 miles away. For fossil hunters the coastline is a paradise, and Weymouth, Poole, Exeter and Bournemouth are all within easy reach. The surrounding area has a host of tourist attractions including shops, harbour side café’s and restaurants, while the park offers all the facilities you need to make the most of your holiday, whatever the weather. Set on a hillside between Bridport and Lyme Regis, this is Thomas Hardy country, with rolling hills, thatched cottages and pretty harbours and beaches. It's the perfect base to explore Charmouth and the wider area of Dorset.

"We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Newland Park and would recommend it to couples as well as families. We stayed in a Dorset King caravan and were very pleased with the comfort and layout of the accommodation. Our caravan had a patio area with table and chairs for outside dining or just relaxing. The park is set in a beautiful rural setting with fantastic views and the village of Charmouth is just a short walk from site. The staff were very helpful and friendly and reception had a good supply of visitor information. Overall we would highly recommend this park."
