"Amazing place. Robin the manage so... very accommodating and understanding. Great family quiz/ bingo evenings run by the friendly bar staff . Shout out to Darren for his enthusiasm. We will be returning beautiful views"
"This place is great! There is a pool, restaurant, bar etc. The view is absolutely amazing from most of the lodges. When you arrive there is a "welcome package" which has sugar, hot chocolate powder, mint chocolate bars and a few other things. There are good attractions nearby and in the summer you can enjoy your own hot tub! The ONLY bad thing I can think of is sometimes the wind can get really bad. It's good for anything really, from a romantic holiday to a family break. The lodge I stayed in, Langdale, has a sauna as well! The location is great because there are no buildings in sight, but there are towns very close by."
"Brockwood hall is situated in a picturesque setting. The main building and cabins all look great. Staff were friendly when spoken with over the phone and face to face. We did receive a courtesy call roughly three weeks before our trip, asking if we had any special requests. I was asked how we would like our cabin bedrooms set up, to which I gave our preference, yet when we arrived, the bedrooms were set up in the default way, which would have been fine, I we hadn't have been given the choice! The cabin itself was very nice and well furnished. There were lots of homely touches, for example, blankets in the bedrooms. There were plenty of towels for use in the bathroom and hot tub. In the kitchen, the basics were provided. A good selection of glasses, pans and plates, along with milk, tea and coffee. It would have been nice if there were salt, pepper, sauces, oil and a pair of scissors. The lodge was homely and comfortable. The living area was warm and great for lounging around. The hot tub was a good temperature and kept clean everyday. However it's a shame the hot tub only seats four when the cabin we stayed in slept six. We managed to squeeze five in, but anymore would have been too much. At around 4, we ordered a takeaway from the on site restaurant to be delivered to our cabin for 7pm. The food was 45 minutes late and there was a mixup between staff on if the food was collect or deliver, delaying the food further. We all ordered pizza, and it was OK. The surrounding area has plenty of public walkways. You're 10 minutes from the coast in a car. Happy with our stay, would stay again."
"Nice quiet place with comfortable lodges, the lodge I stayed in had both hot tub and sauna. Large flat screen televisions in sitting room and both bedrooms. Full heating good kitchen facilities, shower and bath."
"Friendly staff. Lodge cleansed tidy on arrival and equipped well. Hot tub lovely. Lights inside the lodge bathrooms in need of attention, either don't turn on or flash light a strobe light, not good if you suffer from migraines. Food in the restaurant generally good but all three pizzas provided for our party were burnt around the edges. Would definitely visit again."
"We had a lovely holiday, very peaceful and we would happily go back."
