"Great place to stay and relax. Top food from the restaurant on plates as a takeaway.Dogs welcome the lodge we stayed in was very clean with a great hot tub and everything you could need to have a great and relaxing stay. I cannot recommended Brockwood Hall highly enough."
"Beautiful setting, perfect for a quiet family escape. Pool and park great for the kids, will be returning. Staff very helpful"
"My wife and I spent a week here with our daughter, husband and 2 grandchildren (ages 10 and 6). We had chosen the largest lodge and, in the main, it lived up to the website description - a few minor niggles were quickly sorted (except a leaking radiator that could not be repaired until after we'd left). The kitchen was not huge and had minimal food storage space - a problem repeated in the bedrooms that were sorely lacking drawers. Each bedroom has an en-suite toilet and shower but the main bedroom was the only one that could be described as large - the others barely allowed space to get around the beds. The main living room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable with a TV, DVD player (but no DVDs) and excellent compendium of games. The site is fairly compact and lodges quite close together, which meant using the hot-tub wasn't very private. The site restaurant serves breakfast only on a Sunday - a good veggie option was available. There is a bar and a restaurant for evening meals which we did not use. There is a medium sized swimming pool and a nice games room. The grounds are not extensive. In summary, the place was good but possibly not worth the high price and is some distance from "The Lakes"."
"Just back from a wonderful week at Brockwood Hall. Staff were fantastic, friendly and approachable. Had good food over two nights, quiz night was fun and the facilities were great for all of us (ages 9, 43, 46, 67, 69). Went to the beach at Haverigg and at the nature reserve in Millom as well walking around the town of Millom too. Great holiday."
"My wife and I are visitors from South Africa, and have been visiting the beautiful Lake District in the UK. We have been lucky enough to have stayed at Brockwood Hall for four nights. We can highly recommend this venue with its very comfortable and well equipped lodges and facilities. The staff were welcoming and saw to our every need. Thank you. If you are visiting Cumbria then this is a great choice."
"We had a lovely holiday, very peaceful and we would happily go back."
