"The staff were very good when we got there on the Friday. BUT, Very poor site for tourers. Dogs roaming free and taking a dump outside my van, not once but twice.. Showers very rarely worked due to water pressure, I.E. no water. At night time hardly any lights worked in the touring areas, very poor lighting round the top toilet block.. Neighbors complain that your playing music at 7.30pm.. It's a Bank Holiday Weekend. We're here to enjoy life not to go bed at 7.30. Because I confronted a neighbor about dog poo, It caused an atmosphere for rest of the weekend.."
"DO NOT BRING YOUR TOURING CARAVAN HERE! The site has a multitude of new static caravans and some older pitches for touring caravans. The touring pitches are not big enough to park your caravan, awning and car on so the site expect you to park in front of your caravan. Inevitably this resulted in people parking and/or sitting in groups in the roadways. Had we been leaving with our caravan yesterday we would not have got through, however I am more concerned if an emergency vehicle had needed to get through. We highlighted this to the office who said they have driven through themselves and thought it was fine. The toilet and shower blocks are old, cold and poorly maintained. There are no curtains in the showers (so everything gets wet), the pressure is low and the temperature is inconsistent. There are very few toilet brushes so the toilets are disgusting. We were told that the blocks were cleaned twice a day, and if this is the case may I suggest the recruitment of a better cleaner, or one that turns up. The office tried to blame the 'users' for not cleaning up after themselves, and I agree that there is a responsibility but if you do not provide the basic equipment of curtains, toilet brushes and squeegies then how is it possible? We went to do some washing in the laundry area (which has 4 washing machines and 2 tumble driers) and were greeted by all 4 washing machines having 'Out of Order' signs on them. Somewhat ridiculous over the Easter weekend. I am sure that the static 'homes' have new bathrooms and washing machines in them, so this just goes to show that touring caravan 'customers' have been overlooked, forgotten and made to feel unimportant. Wild Rose 'Award Winning' Park owners and staff you should be embarrassed and ashamed. I will be writing to head office on my return home to seek an explanation and compensation for such a shambles."
"Had a wee weekend holiday here over the Easter break, beautiful setting, staff were all friendly and the caravan was lovely, perfect for getting away for a relaxing few days with the kids. Plenty of places around about to explore and shop or eat."
"Staff very friendly, clean and tidy place ,love the hives they are amazing, we would definitely visit again."
"Spent a weekend at wild rose park and what a fantastic weekend it was the staff was friendly and very helpful the park was always clean and the surrounding area is amazing had some beautiful walks will definitely be booking again"
"We had our holiday in March and had fabulous weather, our caravan was brand new and we had a lovely view from the veranda. A lot of things were closed because it was early booking, but we really enjoyed ourselves and had plenty of peace and quiet. Plenty of lovely countryside to either see while in car or having a leisurely walk."
