"After hiring and cruising the Caledonian Canal in June. Where we tied up our boat at Great Glen Water Park for two nights. We we're impressed with the site and arranged a short winter break to 'chill' from all the stresses of Christmas and New Year. Accommodation was fantastic with views over a completely frozen Loch Oich. An excellent venue for winter walking and relaxing. Fort Augustus 10 miles and Nevis Range 15 miles. The short walk to Laggan Lock along the Great Glen Way was impressive, with mountain backdrops, the canal section covered in ice and no midges. We can't wait to organise the next holiday."
