"Old fashioned family camp sites meets modern couples and group escapes. You can tell the parts that are new and old, a real contrast in fact but that makes it all the more quirky. All activities are included in the price and so are the sort of extras that other places charge more for such as logs for your fire, basic supplies such as milk, tea, shampoo and robes/slippers which having stayed in a few, we thought was a nice touch. Really liked it here and staff were all friendly and helpful. They definitely need bigger recycling bins for glass bottles when people leave at the end of a weekend!"
"Lodges are absolutely fantastic with good sized gardens and decking areas. However the facilities are very dated and dilapidated, the indoor pool is tiny with extremely grotty changing facilities. The pool itself has very restricted usage for park residents due to local people and groups using it for private lessons. Tennis courts were great though. Archery was a shed with some green mesh fencing around it and 2 boards. If you use it as a base and go out and about then it's perfect."
"Stopped in the Lincoln lodge for 4 days with a group of friends. Absolutely stunning area and property. The rooms we’re super tidy and a load of towels for everyone to use. The hot tub was brilliant and was checked everyday too. There was good space between lodges although there’s a sound policy for after 10pm no-one seemed to mind as we were pretty far away and respectful Pool table was great aswell. The kitchen in this lodge was amazing, you’d give a hand for a kitchen like that. All in all an amazing stay"
"We stayed in the lakeside hunters lodge absolutely superb!!! The lodge was perfect and definitely had the wow factor, the whole experience of our stay was amazing especially the hot tub, there was even a little gift for our dog which was a perfect touch! We really didn’t want to come home and can’t wait for our next break, we would highly recommend a visit to this perfect place."
"We have just returned from spending the Easter bank holiday weekend in one of the parks Executive lodges (Cedar). The lodge was amazing had everything you needed, it was spotless, hot tub was great and it was incredibly private. The lodge also had a huge secure private garden area, great if you have children with you. We were there as a couple and the most amazing relaxing weekend. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to coming back in the future."
"We had a very enjoyable stay in our comfortable lodge which was in a wonderful tucked away location - very private. There were lovely woodland walks nearby and we spotted rabbits, chaffinches, tits, pied wagtails, a beautiful woodpecker and, from the window of our lodge, two pheasants taking a stroll. On our second day we were surprised to come across Ostler's Plantation which still has bunkers secreted amongst the pines and, at the edge of the woods, we found a hidden airfield from where RAF 617 Squadron, otherwise known as THE DAMBUSTERS, flew Lancaster Bombers! Lincoln cathedral is a must see, and do wander around medieval Burgh le Marsh on the way to or from Skegness. We had a wonderful midweek break and so did our little dog Maia! Definitely to be recommended!"
