"Awful management constantly harassed us in the most unprofessional manner over our dogs (who didn't bother anyone) litter (which every shred was bagged up and taken with us) and noise, even though we where the only people on the whole field. They started very unfriendly and quickly became openly aggressive when we had to resort asking them to leave us alone because they where impacting our weekend and upsetting the children. Beyond that there are shoddy facilities, extremely expensive site fees and a lot of mouldy caravans with nothing else to offer. There are two other quite charming sites on the same stretch of road. I suggest you go there instead."
"Warm and friendly, great facilities and excellent prices. Lovely quiet spot. We've returned here almost every year since 2012."
"Toilets could be cleaner dead files on floor even after cleaner had just been in?? The need too spend money is really needed. No receipt for money given."
"Shittest place i have ever been we rang to say we would be a day late and we would pay iy when we arrived he told use they was no room for use so he put use in between the little wooden glamping things even though we had two tents they put use where only one would fit the otget people they put next to use wete of there head on drugs raving till about 4 in morning to say they had s cleanered toilets and showers were absoulty filthy owner is a arrogant sod do not visit"
"Ignorant and rude management. Would never return. More interested on their commercial residents"
"We have just spent a week at Birchtree Park near Derby, the site was lovely, the views were very pretty and the cabins were spacious and comfortable. The fishing lakes were very good. The experience was quite simply totally relaxing and enjoyable. The site was ideally located for days out to Twycross Zoo, Newstead Abbey, Matlock Bath, Crich Tramway, Chatsworth and a number of other places. The leaflet suggestions in the lodge were very helpful and through this we found Brierlow Bar bookshop where we spent a very nice morning. Can't wait to return!!"
