"A 12 month site which is rare 😊 Went looking for a static there are hundreds... A large site with both statics caravans various prices for most budgets plus live in new homes £99000 around £3000 site fees. Fredrick who showed us around is a lovely Dutch man ( overworked I think). The owner of saltmarche was busy on the phone so never got to chat to him. We found a possible static and will go back to look again. The residents are friendly The shop reasonably priced and now has a conservatory type eating area, tastefully decorated lovely efficient staff forgot your names sorry. lovely fresh cooked food. Dog friendly. fishing pool opening soon. was once a castle and some ruins still exist... they have a couple of original buildings used as storage ( an old hop house and bakery I think ). Also have holiday accomodation apartments. A club house bar and restaurant did not go inside as was closed at the time. presently have building works adding more hardstandings. wonderful views and rural 5 mins to bromyard town and shops 😊. Fredrick we like the green van!! and thankyou for showing us around."
"Absolutely brilliant, went for a afternoon tea good was delicious and great value for money. Highly recommended."
"Our first visit 2day..have family who own a chalet and caravan there..really enjoyed ourselves and can understand why they've chosen that site!👌👍"
"The actual caravan was nice, newish and clean. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet and was just something they’ve used from elsewhere to make do and shockingly the bathroom light cover was on the floor behind the sink leaving exposed live wires next to the shower. I thought given the electric connections were exposed they would have taken the fuse out and made it safe but no it was live and the light worked. Three days later they came to fit another cover saying they meant to do it last week. The site itself is largely a building site with half done jobs literally everywhere. The sewage stinks, there were old car engines outside one caravan, exposed deep holes in the roads and some of the caravans are clearly quite old and make parts of the site resemble a traveller camp. We went for s Monday to Friday break to see what it was like with a view to buying a new static and siting it here. Definitely put off by what we saw and £2714 per year site fees when the restaurant wasn’t open, the bar wasn’t open and the only facility on the site is a part time shop was just another reason to be grateful we only stayed a few days. Other than the Mrs Bouquet character in the lodge behind looking down her nose and partying late the site was at times quiet. The quietness didn’t last long though as there were diggers and dumped trucks regularly driving past. We can’t recommend and will be buying etc elsewhere."
"This is one of those places where all the staff are tremendous and clearly love the place but it is owed by a company that clearly don’t. It’s a kind of cross between a building site ( waterworks) a caravan graveyard( empty/abandoned vans everywhere) and caravan site. I’m going to be honest the place looks a mess dusty, dirty, litter, building work and just general untidiness throughout if it’s clean and tidy you want forget it. On the plus side the staff who ran the clubhouse and facilities were excellent who clearly worked so hard to maintain the place but you felt as if it might be a long time until this place is restored to resemble something like an acceptable site."
